Small Group Fitness Programs

Are you bored with your current workouts? Do you need some extra accountability to get to the gym or the motivation to push yourself further? Could you benefit from some extra attention from a fitness expert? Small group fitness programs can check all these boxes! Regardless of your age or current fitness level, you can find a program that will help you reach your goals. These classes are open to members and non-members.

Ongoing programs

The programs listed below are held throughout the year. Each program lasts between four and six weeks, with a new session starting the following week. Registration is required. To find the next session start date and to save your spot, stop by the club service desk or call (269) 639-2949.

  • NEW! Full Life Fitness
    Tuesdays and Thursdays, 1:30 to 2 p.m.
    Want to be able to move and perform better at home, work or in sports? This functional fitness program will train your body to work it’s best during every day movements. You’ll improve your heart and joint health, and build muscle, so you can feel great and live a full life!

    MX4 workouts are safe and effective for everyone, no matter your age or fitness level. Plus, by combining Matrix-exclusive equipment with originally created programming, workouts are sure to take your workouts to the next level to help you get the results you want!
  • Abs, Hips, Thighs & More
    Mondays and Wednesdays, 8:15 to 8:45 a.m.
    Stand tall! This class will help improve your posture by strengthening core muscles.
    Cost: members $48, non-members $64
  • Advanced Bootcamp
    Mondays and Wednesdays, noon to 12:30 p.m. or 6 to 6:30 p.m.
    Get your heart pumping! This class uses free weights, TRX straps, interval training and body weight exercises for a full body workout in only 30 minutes.

  • Armed & Dangerous
    Mondays and Wednesdays, 9 to 9:30 a.m.
    Yes, you can have those sculpted arms you’ve always dreamed of. This class is upper body training at its very best.
    Cost: members $48, non-members $64
  • Calorie Burn
    Tuesdays and Thursdays, noon to 12:45 p.m.
    This cardio, muscular endurance and interval training program will jump start your metabolism and help you burn major calories.
    Cost: members $64, non-members $80
  • Circuit Training
    Tuesdays and Thursdays, 11:30 a.m. to noon or 6 to 6:30 p.m.
    This intermediate level program will tone and strengthen your whole body. During class, you’ll use free weights and resistance bands.

  • Chair Yoga
    Wednesdays, 1:15 to 2 p.m.
    Do you want to exercise your mind and body while also improving stability? This class is for you! This yoga class is modified for anyone who cannot easily get up and down from the floor.

  • Fun Fit Friday
    Fridays, 9 to 9:30 a.m.
    Start your weekend off on the right foot! Each class will feature different workouts all designed to increase your heart rate, burn calories and build muscle.
