Follow the progress as the new $22 million Bronson South Haven Hospital takes shape. The two-story, 52,000 square foot facility is located directly east of the existing hospital, facing Blue Star Highway. Construction began in October 2019 and is expected to open in early 2021.

The weather this fall has cooperated and we're in the process of putting up the steel girders. Soon, the basic shape of the new hospital will be visible.
January 9, 2020
The metal framework for the new hospital is nearing completion. The last steel girder is expected to be attached the week of January 20. As seen, some of the outside shell is already in place.

The new hospital is really taking shape! Work continues to get the new structure enclosed and weatherproofed.

With the structure enclosed, work begins on the inside of the building. As you can see, the second floor is already in place.

The new construction of the new hospital is really coming along. Take a look at the photo of the spacious, window-filled lobby that was taken from the second floor. The fourth photo shows some of the second floor exam rooms taking shape.

Construction work on the exterior brick and porcelain facade has been completed and the new hospital is really taking shape. Metal panel work and canopy finish details are in progress. The first layer of asphalt for the driveway and parking lot are currently being laid with the final layer planned for late fall. Interior work has moved to flooring, cabinetry and painting in most of the exam rooms on the second floor. Drywall work is happening in tandem with electrical and data installs on the first floor.
