Elizabeth D’Angelo, FNP Appointed as Director of Advanced Practice Providers for Bronson Medical Group

Bronson Healthcare is pleased to announce the appointment of Elizabeth D’Angelo, FNP to the newly created leadership role of Bronson Medical Group (BMG) Director of Advanced Practice Providers (APPs). Ms. D’Angelo, who practices at Bronson Trauma Surgery Services, was selected from a pool of outstanding applicants.
The Director will lead and support Bronson’s expansive Advanced Practice Providers of over 350 Nurse Practitioners (NP), Physician Assistants (PA), and Certified Nurse Midwives (CNM). These providers serve across the system in both inpatient and outpatient settings, spanning pediatric and adult services, and in acute care and post-acute care. In this new role, Ms. D’Angelo’s responsibilities will include:
- Providing administrative direction and leadership for activities and operations associated with
the provision of advanced clinical practice services in accordance with Bronson’s Strategy
- Advocating for the growth and development of the APP staff and ensuring optimal utilization
of the APP staff
- Positively influencing patient care outcomes by promoting evidence-based practice
With more than 20 years of experience working in the ER and Trauma Surgery, Ms. D’Angelo brings a wealth of relevant experience and is clearly comfortable tackling challenging and stressful situations. Her strengths in effective communication, collaboration, and peer leadership helped her earn this role. As the new BMG Director of APPs, Ms. D’Angelo will be instrumental in fostering better communication and engagement across our system, ensuring that our APPs are well-supported and empowered to provide the best possible care to our patients.
Ms. D’Angelo earned her Master of Science in Nursing at Walden University, Minneapolis, MN and has been on staff at Bronson since 2014. She’s served as a member of the Medical Staff Quality Committee (MSQC) and has held leadership roles in Performance Improvement (PI), Surgery Intensive Care Unit (SICU), and Trauma Peer Review. We are confident that her leadership will greatly enhance the professional experience of our APPs and contribute to Bronson’s continued success.
