Bronson BirthPlace Welcomes Its First Newborn of 2026

Bronson Birthplace is ringing in the new year: welcoming the first baby born in 2026.
The Kilmartin family of Kalamazoo, is celebrating a joyful milestone as they welcome their little one—earning the special title of 'first baby born' at Bronson BirthPlace in 2026.
The first baby of the new year at Bronson BirthPlace in Kalamazoo is a healthy boy! Timothy Carter Kilmartin made his debut at 12:19 a.m., weighing 6 pounds, 2 ounces and measuring 19 inches long. Proud parents Demi and Pete, along with big sister Scarlett—who was also born at Bronson—are all doing well and thrilled to welcome Timothy to the family.

Bronson BirthPlace in Battle Creek also welcomed its first baby of 2026—a healthy boy born at 5:13 a.m.
