Bronson Class Provides Education to Help Manage Diabetes

The Bronson Diabetes Education Center is offering a free class about how to prevent and manage type 2 diabetes.


Managing Diabetes is led by certified diabetes educator, Sue
Zimmer, RN, BSN. Attendees will assess their risk factors and learn
prevention tips. Those diagnosed with diabetes will discover tools to
successfully manage the disease to live a healthy life. Topics include
healthy eating, exercise, monitoring, stress management and effective
medications.


Managing Diabetes will be held on Wednesday, March 20, from 7:15
until 8:15 p.m. at Friendship Village on 1400 N. Drake Rd, Kalamazoo.
Seating for this session is limited so preregistration is encouraged.
