Bronson HealthCare Midwest Urology Opens New Practice in Battle Creek

Kalamazoo, Mich. – Bronson Healthcare Midwest Urology is opening a new practice in Battle Creek and will be accepting new patients starting June 16. Bronson HealthCare Midwest Urology is well established in southwest Michigan serving patients at locations in Kalamazoo (two), Paw Paw and Three Rivers. Bronson HealthCare Midwest strives to offer convenient access to urology services including care for men and women experiencing problems with their urinary tract.

"We are excited to further expand our services to a fifth location," says Cheryl Prell, director of surgical services and practices at Bronson HealthCare Midwest. "Bronson continues to work hard to provide the right care, at the right time, in the right place. The team is also excited to offer urology care to a new area."

The team includes Brandon Rubens, M.D. and Lita Martin, N.P. Rubens is board certified in urology and is trained in robotic surgery using the da Vinci® Surgical System. Martin will also be available one day a week for the Bronson HealthCare Midwest Continence Center. Some of the conditions treated include urological cancers, impotence, urinary tract infections, kidney stones, infertility, urinary incontinence, pelvic prolapse, prostatectomy, pyeloplasty, nephrectomy, cystectomy, sacrocolpopexy, internal radiation seeds for prostates and more.
