Bronson will offer a free informational series on living well. Learn how awareness and lifestyle changes can reduce health risks related to heart attack, stroke and chronic back pain.
The Bronson Living Well Series includes three presentations from experts in cardiology, orthopedic surgery and neurointerventional surgery. Presentations will be held at The Point community center at 2595 N. 10th Street in Kalamazoo.
Exploring the Spectrum of Heart Attack Symptoms will be held on Thursday, November 7 at 6:30 p.m. Dr. Shea Hogan, cardiologist at Bronson Advanced Cardiac Healthcare, will talk about the wide range of heart attack symptoms. Learning the possible symptoms of a heart attack could save your life or the life of someone you love.
Managing Back Pain will be held on Thursday, November 14 at 6:30 p.m. Dr. Joshua Ellwitz, orthopedics from Bronson HealthCare Midwest Spine & Scoliosis Specialists, will offer tips to help manage chronic back pain. This includes simple exercises and treatments, as well as surgical options.
Stroke: Saving Your Brain! will be held on Thursday, November 21 at 6:30 p.m. Dr. Jeffrey Miller, neurointerventional surgeon from Bronson Neuroscience Center, will present steps to prevent stroke. Dr. Miller will also explain how learning about stroke symptoms can prevent brain damage.
