Bronson Nurses Awarded Nursing Scholarships for 2019 School Year
Congratulations to the 2019 Bronson Nursing Scholarship recipients! Out of 21 applicants across the Bronson system, eight registered nurses (RNs) were selected to receive awards on behalf of the Bronson Health Foundation. These scholarships will help cover the costs of continuing their advanced nursing degrees.
“Going back to school and continually learning is just one way to ensure we grow professionally and increase our understanding and knowledge, not only of the nursing profession but of the challenges in today’s healthcare environment and challenges care givers will be facing," explains Denise Neely, MBA, BSN, vice president and system chief nursing officer. “It makes me proud that we have so many nurses who are dedicating the time and effort to furthering their education. It’s another great example of our nurses raising the bar on clinical excellence.”
