Bronson Nursing and Rehabilitation Center Receives National Award for Outstanding Quality Care
Bronson Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Lawton is a recipient of the 2012 Bronze AHCA/NCAL National Quality Award for dedication to improving quality care. The honor is one of three distinctions awarded through the National Quality Award program of the American Health Care Association and National Center for Assisted Living (AHCA/NCAL).
The program is designed to help providers of long-term and post-acute care services achieve their performance excellence goals. It reviews applications from care facilities across the nation and honors those that have demonstrated commitment to the quality improvement journey.

Bronson Nursing and Rehabilitation Center specializes in long- and short-term nursing care and therapy for patients following illness, injury or hospitalization. It has a workforce of 150 and offers a wide range of services and programs tailored to meet individual needs including physical therapy, occupational therapy, speech and language therapy, wound and ostomy care, chronic disease management, psychiatry, hearing, podiatry, dental and optical services.
Implemented by AHCA/NCAL in 1996, the National Quality Award Program is centered on the core values and criteria of the Baldrige Performance Excellence Program. Bronson Methodist Hospital in Kalamazoo is a 2005 recipient of the Malcolm Baldrige National Quality Award, the nation's highest presidential honor for quality and organizational performance excellence.
