Jennifer Hilton, FNP, is the newest team member to join Bronson LakeView Family Care - Internal Medicine. Jennifer earned her Master of Science in Nursing – Family Nurse Practitioner from Spring Arbor University in Spring Arbor, Mich., and her Bachelor of Nursing from Goshen College in Goshen, Ind.
Jennifer chose a path in healthcare to help educate and guide patients to choose the best path to wellness. “My goal is to provide health education and disease prevention, taking into consideration each individual’s mental, social and physical needs,” says Jennifer. Prior to joining Bronson Healthcare, Jennifer was a registered nurse in acute care hospital settings for over 18 years before becoming a family nurse practitioner. She most recently came from Karim Healthcare, a walk-in and primary care clinic in Coldwater, Mich. Bronson Pediatric Medicine Hospital Specialists welcomes Jami Knox, MD, to its team. She will split her time as a pediatric hospitalist between Bronson Methodist Hospital and Bronson Battle Creek Hospital. Dr. Knox completed her residency at Michigan State University and Sparrow Hospital in Lansing, Mich., and earned her medical degree from Michigan State University College of Human Medicine in East Lansing, Mich.
Dr. Knox is passionate about caring for new, vulnerable lives and educating new parents while they navigate the early days of parenthood. “I believe in excellent medical care for everyone, and I strive to care for my patients the way I would want my family to be cared for.” Dr. Knox started her healthcare career more than 22 years ago. She most recently came from Sanford Children’s Clinic in Klamath Falls, Ore., an outpatient and inpatient pediatric care clinic focused on cesarean sections and high-risk deliveries and has experience operating her own pediatric care solo practices. Logan Leafers, PA-C, is the newest team member to join Bronson Internal Medicine Hospital Specialists. He will rotate his time as a hospitalist at all four of our member organizations: Bronson Battle Creek Hospital, Bronson Methodist Hospital, Bronson LakeView Hospital and Bronson South Haven Hospital.
Logan completed his Master of Science in Medicine in Physician Assistant Studies from Western Michigan University in Kalamazoo, Mich., and his Bachelor of Science in Biomedical Sciences from Grand Valley State University in Allendale, Mich. Prior to joining Bronson Healthcare, Logan was a physician assistant at Sparrow Eaton Hospital Urgent Care in Charlotte, Mich., and Doctors Urgent Care Group in Plainwell, Mich.; he also was an acute care & ICU nocturnist physician assistant at Three Rivers Hospital, a member of Beacon Medical Group in Three Rivers, Mich.

Bronson Vascular & Endovascular Surgery Specialists welcomes Zachary Virgin, DO, to its team. Dr. Virgin completed his vascular surgery fellowship at the University of Mississippi Medical Center, Jackson, Miss., and is board certified in general surgery and vascular surgery. He completed his general surgery residency and internship at McLaren Macomb in Mount Clemens, Mich. Dr. Virgin received his medical degree from Nova Southeastern University in Davie, Fla.
Dr. Virgin chose a career in vascular surgery because of its perfect blend of classic surgery in combination with the cutting-edge, minimally invasive techniques available in the field. He appreciates that the field of vascular surgery allows him the opportunity to constantly learn and grow while making a life-changing impact on the lives of his patients. “I am passionate about educating patients on disease physiology, which helps them better understand their condition and treatment options,” shared Dr. Virgin.
