Bronson Welcomes Sparling, Walker, Alswang and Utter

Bronson Healthcare welcomes the following new providers.

Bronson Geriatric Medical Services Welcomes Timothy Sparling, DNP.
Sparling earned his Doctorate of Nursing Practice from the Adult & Geriatric Nurse Practitioner Program at Wayne State University in Detroit and his bachelor’s degree from the University of Phoenix.  

Prior to joining Bronson, Sparling was a part-time faculty member at Ohio State University College of Nursing, and a home care team leader at Hospice Care of Southwest Michigan.

Bronson Women’s Service Welcomes Amanda K. Walker, DO.
Dr. Walker earned her medical degree from Michigan State University College of Osteopathic Medicine. She completed her obstetrics and gynecology residency at Henry Ford Macomb Hospital, and is board eligible in obstetrics and gynecology. 

Dr. Walker’s special interests include osteopathic manipulative therapy in pregnant patients, and caring for adolescents and infertility patients.

Bronson Pediatric Referral Service Welcomes Martin Alswang, MD.
Dr. Alswang earned his medical degree from the University of Witwatersrand, Johannesburg, South Africa. He completed his residencies at North Shore University Hospital in Manhasset, New York, and at New York University – Bellevue Hospital Medical Center in New York. He is board certified in pediatric intensive/critical care medicine and general pediatrics. He completed his pediatric critical care fellowship at The Children’s Hospital in Denver, Colorado.  

Prior to joining Bronson, Dr. Alswang practiced in Colorado as a pediatric intensivist and pediatric hospitalist at Rocky Mountain Children’s Hospital at Swedish Medical Center; Rocky Mountain Children’s Hospital at Presbyterian/St. Luke’s Medical Center; and Pediatric intensivist at the Children’s Hospital of Colorado at Memorial Hospital.

Bronson Maternal-Fetal Medicine Welcomes Gregory O. Utter, MD. 
Dr. Utter earned his medical degree from Michigan State University College of Human Medicine, in East Lansing. He completed his maternal-fetal medicine fellowship at Northwestern University Medical School in Chicago, Illinois, as well as his obstetrics and gynecology residency at St. John Hospital and Medical Center in Detroit. 

He is board certified in maternal-fetal medicine and obstetrics and gynecology. 

Dr. Utter’s special interests include ultrasound and prenatal diagnosis, and maternal medical problems in pregnancy.
Prior to joining Bronson Maternal-Fetal Medicine, Dr. Utter practiced at Rocky Mountain Perinatal Associates, Community Medical Center in Missoula, Montana.
