Dr. B. Douglas Campbell Receives Healthcare Leadership Award
Dr. B. Douglas Campbell is the recipient of the 2016 Dale G. Griffin Healthcare Leadership Award. The Griffin honors exemplary contributions to improve the quality and accessibility of healthcare in the Battle Creek area.
Dr. Campbell is a neurologist who began practicing in Battle Creek in 1986. His 30 years of service in our community have impacted the lives of thousands of patients. Dr. Campbell is a talented clinician, outstanding leader of the medical staff, and generous with his time across the community. Patients and colleagues celebrate his genuine good spirit and his unwavering commitment to delivering the very best healthcare for all.
Dr. Campbell has served as President of the Calhoun County Medical Society and on the board of the Calhoun County Health Improvement Program. He was vice chief and then chief of staff at Battle Creek Health System. And he has served for several decades as the leader of the credentials committee at both Battle Creek Health System and more recently Bronson Battle Creek.
The award was presented to Dr. Campbell by Jim McKernan, Bronson Battle Creek chief operating officer, during the Bronson Battle Creek Medical Staff General Meeting.
