Five Bronson HealthCare Midwest Doctors Named Best in America

Drs. James B. Bour, urologist; Melissa Davidson, pediatrician and internist; Geoffrey R. Grambau, pulmonologist; Jeffrey C. King, orthopedic hand & elbow surgeon; and James R. Smith, orthopedic hand surgeon, have been named to the 2013 Best Doctors in America list.

Assembled by Best Doctors, Inc., as well as audited and certified by Gallup, the 2013 list is the result of polling more than 45,000 physicians in the United States. In a confidential review, queried physicians answered the question, “If you or a loved one needed a doctor in your specialty, to whom would you refer?” Best Doctors, Inc. evaluates the review results, and verifies all additional information to meet detailed inclusion criteria.

“Only doctors recognized as the top five percent in their specialty earn the honor of being named one of the Best Doctors in America,” said Brian J. Bellware, HR Manager, Bronson HealthCare Midwest. “It’s both rewarding and reassuring to know that our selected doctors are lauded as experts in their respective fields.”

Best Doctors has earned a reputation for reliable, impartial results by remaining independent. Doctors cannot pay to be included in the Best Doctors database and are not compensated to provide their input about their peers. The list is a product of validated peer review, in which physicians who excel in their specialties are selected by their professional peers.

Founded in 1989 by Harvard Medical School physicians, Best Doctors works with the best five percent of doctors, ranked by impartial peer review, to help people receive the right diagnosis and right treatment. Gallup has audited and certified Best Doctors, Inc.’s database of physicians, and its companion Best Doctors in America list, as using the highest industry standards in survey methodology and processes. The global health solutions company, which has grown to more than 30 million members worldwide, uses state-of-the-art technology to deliver improved health outcomes and reduce costs.
