Flooded Streets Near Bronson Methodist Hospital

Update October 16, 5:00 p.m.: Many streets around the Bronson Methodist Hospital campus have dried out and are now open to traffic. Please be aware you may encounter a few areas that are still closed. Our lots on Jasper Street and at the Garden Entrance have reopened for patients and visitors.

Many roads remain closed near Bronson Methodist Hospital due to flooding. This map provided by the City of Kalamazoo shows the current road closures.

Our parking lots at the Garden Entrance and on Jasper St. are also flooded. Visitors are encouraged to use the Vine St. Ramp or the Jasper Ramp. This map shows the current lot closures and street closures directly around campus.

If you are heading to the hospital from the south, we suggest taking Portage Rd. north to Lovell St., take Lovell west to John St. or take Oakland Dr. north to South St., take South St. east to Rose St., take Rose St. south to Walnut, and take Walnut east.

We encourage everyone to allow extra time to get to appointments or visits.
