This event is supported through generous donations to Bronson Health Foundation in memory of Jim Gunderson. Jim was an entrepreneur and business leader, who served on the Bronson Healthcare board of directors for 25 years, including 5 years as chairman. He battled prostate cancer for nine years before his death in 2021. “The more Jim could help people the happier he was,” says his wife, Sally Gunderson. “His biggest hope was to fund early detection of prostate cancer so more lives can be saved.”
A prostate exam by a primary care provider or urologist is recommended annually for men age 50+. To learn more about prostate cancer, symptoms, prevention and treatment options, visit Bronson’s prostate cancer webpage.
