Gene Hughes Memorial Golf Outing to Help Cancer Patients

If you are interested in golf, and want to help local cancer survivors with their medications, then this event may be just ‘what the doctor ordered.’

The Gene Lewis Hughes, Sr. Memorial Golf Outing will be held on Monday, June 17, at Battle Creek Country Club. Lunch and registration are scheduled for 11:30 a.m. with a shotgun start at 1 p.m.

Individual entry fee is $125; a foursome is $400. There are also sponsorship opportunities for Lunch, Eagles, Birdies, Fairways, and Tees.

Proceeds from this event will go to the Bronson Battle Creek Cancer Care Medication Fund. This fund assures that cancer patients who have little or no insurance will have access to needed medications for their treatments.
