Healthcare leaders in Southwest Michigan issue plea to community as COVID-19 cases continue to surge
Medical leaders from Ascension Borgess, Bronson Healthcare, and Oaklawn Hospital, along with public health officials and the 5th District Medical Response Coalition held a news conference on December 7, 2021. Representatives issued a plea for help from community members as the continuing rise in COVID-19 cases in the region has stretched local health care resources to a critical point.
Dr. Scott Gibson, system medical director, Bronson Emergency Departments and Dr. Aaron Lane-Davies, chief of quality, Bronson Medical Group and pediatric hospitalist, Bronson Children's Hospital, spoke on behalf of Bronson.
