Lightened-up Apple Crisp Recipe

Pie Filling Ingredients
  • 3 medium baking apples, cored and sliced thin
  • 1 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 2 tablespoons sugar
  • 2 tablespoons flour
Pie Topping Ingredients
  • 1 cup quick oats
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla
  • ½ teaspoon cinnamon
  • ¼ cup brown sugar
  • 2 tablespoons heart-healthy tub margarine
  1. Preheat oven to 325 degrees F.
  2. Mix all four filling ingredients and place into a 9-inch baking dish.
  3. In a small bowl, mix topping ingredients until crumbly.
  4. Sprinkle topping over the apples.
  5. Bake at 325 degrees 30 minutes or until apples are soft and topping is golden brown.
