Mark B. Atkinson, MD Appointed to Bronson Board of Directors
KALAMAZOO, Mich. The Bronson Healthcare Group Board of Directors is pleased to welcome Mark B. Atkinson, M.D. to the Bronson board of directors. Dr. Atkinson is vice chief of staff at Bronson Methodist Hospital and one of five physician representatives on the board. He will serve on the quality oversight committee.
Atkinson has been a staff anesthesiologist at Bronson Methodist Hospital since 1987 and is a member of the Kalamazoo Anesthesiology medical group. He is past section chief of the department of anesthesiology and currently serves as co-chair of the surgery performance improvement committee. Atkinson received his medical degree from the University of Illinois College of Medicine followed by an internship and residency with the Medical College of Ohio.
