New Bronson Imaging & Lab Opened June 17 in Otsego

OTSEGO, Mich. – Bronson Healthcare expanded services in the Otsego and Plainwell communities with the official opening of Bronson Imaging & Lab on Tuesday, June 17. The facility, located at 1387 M-89 Highway, Suite C – 1.5 miles west of U.S. 131 and across from Arbor Credit Union – was created in response to patient requests for more accessible healthcare options in the area.
To commemorate the opening, a ribbon cutting ceremony was held in partnership with the Otsego-Plainwell Chamber of Commerce. During the celebration, the Chamber presented Bronson with a certificate from the City of Otsego and a special tribute from the State of Michigan.

Remarks were shared by Kimberly Hatchel, Senior Vice President of Bronson Methodist Hospital. Chamber board members and local community leaders also toured the facility.
The new location offers a range of services including blood draws, diagnostic testing, EKGs and X-rays. Patients can walk in without an appointment Monday through Friday, from 7:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. For those who prefer to schedule ahead, appointments are available for both imaging and lab services at bronsonhealth.com/schedule. A physician order is required prior to any diagnostic testing.

Patients with a Bronson MyChart account can also schedule appointments online at bronsonhealth.com/mychart or in the mobile app under “Schedule an Appointment.” While a MyChart account is not required, it streamlines the registration process, provides appointment reminders and offers fast access to test results.
Using a Bronson lab consistently also improves coordination of care, as all test results are securely stored in the patient’s electronic health record. This makes it easier for physicians to monitor health changes and make more informed care decisions over time.
