Bronson LakeView Surgery has welcomed to its practice Rebecca Thoreson, M.D. She joins the team of Shadi Fahs, D.O., Konrads Lubavs, M.D. and Daniel Teske, PA-C.
Thoreson is board eligible in general surgery. She completed her general surgery residency at University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics. She received her bachelor’s degree from Hope College and her medical degree from Wayne State University-School of Medicine.
Her special interests include breast surgery (benign and malignant disease including biopsy, lumpectomy, mastectomy); upper and lower endoscopy (EGD and colonoscopy); abdominal and digestive track surgery (gallbladder, stomach, large and small intestine); hernia surgery; acute care surgery (appendicitis, bowel obstruction/perforation, diverticulitis, abscess drainage); skin and soft tissues (removal of skin lesions, cysts, nodules, masses).
