Bronson Healthcare has earned the 2026 Best in Keys Award for Ambulatory AccessKeys® from the National Association of Healthcare Access Management (NAHAM). This award recognizes the work happening every day across Bronson to make it easier for patients to access care, particularly in ambulatory care (outpatient) settings like primary care and specialty offices, where more people are receiving care than ever before.

This year’s award is especially meaningful, as it’s the first year NAHAM has honored an organization specifically for ambulatory care. It aims to recognize healthcare organizations that are leading the way in helping patients schedule appointments, prepare ahead of time and stay on track with their care.

This recognition also builds on Bronson’s strong track record. In 2024 and 2025, Bronson received NAHAM’s Best in Keys Award in the Small Hospital category. Together, these recognitions reflect a continued commitment to improving access across the entire patient journey.

To earn this award, organizations must meet national performance standards and show real improvements in both efficiency and the patient experience. At Bronson, that work includes:

  • Helping patients schedule and prepare for appointments
  • Reducing missed appointments and last-minute cancellations
  • Making check-in and registration faster and more efficient
  • Providing clear, upfront information about costs

“This award reflects the dedication of our teams who work hard every day to remove barriers and make access to care easier for our patients,” said Kathryn Belco, System Director Revenue Cycle Operations. “We’re proud to see that work recognized on a national level.”
