Record Setting Farm to Table Dinner in Support of Bronson Children's Hospital
A record $53,776 was raised during this year’s Carlson Farms-Farm to Table Dinner. The funds raised during the third annual event will be used to support renovations to the Bronson Children’s Hospital playroom.
More than 400 people enjoyed the farm to table meal in a picturesque, outdoor setting. The event featured entertainment, hors d’oeuvres and a four-course plated dinner by a number of local chefs.
Over the last three years, a total of nearly $100,000 has been raised to support programs, services and renovations at Bronson Children’s Hospital.
“We are so grateful to Norm and Karen Carlson for all that they put into hosting this event each year,” says Liz Semaan, director of development at Bronson Healthcare. “We also couldn’t do it without the support of our signature chefs, volunteers, sponsors, and all who attended. This event keeps growing each year, and it shows the real heart of our generous community.”
Previous years’ events have helped fund Bronson’s Neonatal Intensive Care Unit camera project and a redesign of the Bronson Children’s Hospital Family Lounge.
