Sexual Assault Services Presents “Hope & Healing” Art Exhibition

image of collage of t-shirtsBATTLE CREEK, Mich. – Sexual Assault Services (SAS) is pleased to announce the opening of its new art exhibit entitled “Hope & Healing.” The opening reception for this month-long exhibit will take place on Thursday, March 31, from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. at the Art Center of Battle Creek.

“Thanks to our partnership with the Art Center of Battle Creek, our community will be able to reflect and celebrate the resiliency of those who have been victimized by sexual assault,” says Joyce Siegel, program manager at Sexual Assault Services. “The exhibit will feature artwork created by sexual assault survivors and those impacted by sexual violence. SAS employees will also have pieces of artwork on display.”

The exhibit will be open to the public during April at the Art Center of Battle Creek. The hours of operation are Tuesday through Friday, from 10 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., and Saturday, from 11:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.
