Erin received a clinical doctorate of audiology from Western Michigan University in Kalamazoo, Mich., and a bachelor’s degree in speech language pathology from Calvin University in Grand Rapids, Mich. Before joining Bronson, she spent nearly a year in clinical practicum with Bronson Constance Brown Hearing Center. Bronson Oncology & Hematology Specialists welcomes Danielle Otis, PA-C, to its team in Battle Creek. Danielle has been a physician assistant at Bronson for eight years. Before joining the team at the Cancer Center, she worked at the Bronson Neuroscience Center in Kalamazoo and in the Bronson Battle Creek Emergency Department. She received her Master of Science in Physician Assistant Studies from Wayne State University in Detroit, Mich. While in school, Danielle chose an elective in radiation oncology and studied under Dr. Randy Mudge, radiation oncologist and physician-in-chief for Bronson’s system cancer program. Danielle chose to transfer to Bronson Oncology & Hematology Specialists in Battle Creek because of her connection to the cancer program and to follow in her mother’s footsteps. Donna Shouldice, Danielle’s mom, semi-retired as a radiation oncology nurse after 34 years. Danielle has a special interest in cancers that affect women, including cervical, uterine, ovarian and breast cancers, especially after being diagnosed with endometriosis and going through her own cancer scare in in 2022.
