Bronson Neuroscience Center - Kalamazoo is pleased to welcome Katharine Gross, NP, to its team. Katharine received her doctorate of nursing practice, acute care and family nurse practitioner from the University of Michigan in Flint, Mich., as well as her bachelor’s degree in nursing from Western Michigan University. Katharine has 10 years of nursing experience, previously serving as a critical care nurse for Bronson Methodist Hospital for several years, but most recently as an intensive care unit traveling nurse. Her special interests include critical care and stroke. Katharine is a Stroke Certified Registered Nurse and is also a clinical instructor at Western Michigan University. Her article “Implementation of an Evidence-Based Pre-Notification for Patients with Stroke to Improve Neurological Outcomes” is pending publication.
