Temporary Change to Visitation Guidelines for Flu Season Lifted

The flu season is not over, but the severity of it has reduced to a level where the Bronson Healthcare system is resuming its normal visitation guidelines. Effective immediately:

  • Healthy children under the age of 15 may now visit.
  • More than the patient’s immediately family members may visit the Bronson BirthPlace.
  • More than two visitors are permitted in the Bronson emergency departments, Bronson Urgent Care and at Bronson Commons.

In the best interest of the patient, visitors to any Bronson location must still be healthy and may be encouraged to wear a mask.

Flu season doesn’t officially end until May. If you have yet to receive the flu vaccination, Bronson offers flu shots at a variety of locations across southwest Michigan to make protecting you and your family quick and convenient. Learn more at bronsonhealth.com/flu.
