Welcome First Babies of 2019!

Two southwest Michigan families are celebrating extra-special 2019 deliveries. On New Year’s Day, their babies were the first to be born at the Bronson BirthPlace in Battle Creek and Kalamazoo.

In Battle Creek, a baby boy, Daylen Albert Wilson, was born at 12:06 a.m. weighing 7 lbs., 10 oz. The proud parents are Mallorie Densmore of Hastings and David Turner of Battle Creek. David said he considers his son’s New Year’s Day arrival as a sign of a positive beginning to the new year and his son’s life.

In Kalamazoo, a baby girl, Eleanor Lynn Behymer was born at 12:10 a.m., weighing 8 lbs., 5 oz. to parents  Joshua and Meghan Behymer of Kalamazoo. Joshua stated that they had planned on a quiet New Year’s Eve at home. But, Eleanor had other plans and the couple found themselves making a late night dash to Bronson. Eleanor made her entrance less than half an hour later.
