PGY1 residents are classified as full-time, benefited employees of Bronson Methodist Hospital. They are paid a competitive stipend and bonus pay for staffing responsibilities. Residents are afforded 10 paid days off work (vacation/sick days/personal time) throughout the residency year. Residents also receive a benefits package that includes health, dental, vision, and life insurance, disability, and various staff discounts. Residents may choose to contribute to 403b investment accounts, and take advantage of the Bronson matching program. Residents are eligible to join the Bronson Athletic Club and utilize the Bronson Best Upon Request concierge services as well. Residents are provided registration and travel reimbursement for the ASHP Midyear Clinical Meeting as well as the Great Lakes Pharmacy Residency Conference.
