The Bronson Battle Creek Cancer Care Center has a history of “firsts” and is nationally recognized for excellence. It is one of only 25 centers in the country to earn the Commission on Cancer's Outstanding Achievement Award.
Our Battle Creek radiation oncology program holds the prestigious ASTRO APEx accreditation - meaning we have a proven track record of providing the highest level of safe, patient-centered radiation treatment. At the time of accreditation, BBC was one of only 24 such centers in the nation, and continues to be one of just three APEx-accredited cancer centers in Michigan.
Additionally, if you've been diagnosed with breast cancer, feel secure choosing Bronson for cancer treatment. With our state of the art technology and the use of scientific evidence in treating patients, Bronson Battle Creek is an Accredited Breast Center.
Region's Only Pediatric Cancer Program
Bronson Children's Hospital has the only pediatric cancer program in southwest Michigan. Our pediatric oncology team are the `go to' experts for the treatment of childhood cancers and blood disorders. The team guides and supports children and families through both outpatient and inpatient care.

In early 2021 when the new cancer pavilion opens, five medical oncologists and four physician assistants, who are currently staffing the West Michigan Cancer Center, will join our Bronson cancer team. They are eager to surround you with the excellent quality and experience Bronson is known for.
The Bronson Patient and Family Advisory Council is providing input on the design of the new cancer pavilion, ensuring the space provides a healing and supportive environment. The pavilion will offer a wide range of cancer services and amenities in one convenient location.
