Beautiful You Salon
During cancer treatment, you may experience changes to your appearance and demeanor. However, it does not need to take away your spirit. The Beautiful You program has partnered with the Bronson Cancer Center to offer complimentary salon and spa services to individuals in active cancer treatment at Bronson.
Who is Eligible for Services?
The Beautiful You program is available to anyone who is undergoing active cancer treatment at one of Bronson’s cancer centers. Services are available at no cost to the patient. Appointments are required.

Exercise Classes
We know that cancer treatment can be exhausting, but regular exercise can help you feel better. Bronson Cancer Center has various exercise classes available just for our cancer patients. Some of these classes include:

Expressive Art Classes
Art - whether viewing or creating - is known to have healing effects. This is why we offer patients opportunities to create and engage in art of their own. The Expressive Arts Program offers a variety of hands-on art workshops and lectures that allow patients to explore the various areas of expressive arts. Some programs are held in person, and others are available virtually. Activities are led by a combination of:

Sound Therapy
“When we reach a state of stillness and calm, we enable our bodies to achieve sound health.” This is the goal of sound therapy. Using sacred instruments in a trained therapeutic way, certified sound therapist Susan Teague will guide you into a state of relaxation and peace.
Benefits of Sound Therapy
The goal of sound therapy is to achieve a state of state of calmness and relaxation. This allows the body to best heal. Some of the benefits you will notice from sound therapy include:
- Reduced stress and anxiety
- Improved sleep quality
- Lower cortisol and blood pressure
- Reduced pain
Sound therapy is available once per month at the Bronson Cancer Center in Battle Creek and once per month at the Bronson Cancer Center in Kalamazoo.

You are not alone in your cancer journey! Our support groups offer an opportunity to come together as a group, learn from each other and share in your common experiences.

Survivorship Program
Whether you are undergoing treatment, are in remission or are now living cancer-free, you are invited to take part in Bronson Cancer Center's Survivorship Program.
This free program connects you with a survivorship nurse to guide you in your cancer journey. Your nurse will:
- Connect you with a wide range of information and resources
- Answer your questions
- Coordinate your care
- Ensure you and your loved ones have the resources you need every step of the way
