General Pediatrics

From the time your child is born, through the toddler and teen years, our pediatricians do everything possible to help your family prevent childhood illness and maintain good health.

Pediatricians are specialists who go beyond simply coordinating your child's care. They often focus on treating kids with more chronic or complex health conditions.

Our goal is to build your trust in a judgment-free environment as we work with you one on one to carefully manage your condition(s) and overall health. During your visit, we do our best to thoroughly explain new information—from conditions to treatments and medicine—and answer all of your questions.

We recommend that you make a list of questions you have for your doctor before you even schedule your appointment. When you make your appointment, let the office staff know all of the types of things you want to talk to your doctor about. This way, we can make sure you don't feel rushed and have plenty of time to get the answers you need.

Keeping Your Child Healthy

Kids grow up fast, so whether your child needs booster shots, tips on getting the best sleep, or help maintaining a healthy weight, our pediatricians provide services to keep them healthy. Our services also include:

  • Dermatology
  • Emotional and Mental health
  • Patient education
  • Physical exams
  • Preventive care, including immunizations
  • Psychosocial care
  • Well-child checkups

Pediatric Conditions Treated

From routine illnesses to complex diseases, our pediatricians treat a wide range of conditions to help your child feel better. Commonly treated conditions include:

  • Colds and flu
  • Chronic conditions like asthma, diabetes (type 1 diabetes, prediabetes, type 2) and high blood pressure
  • Childhood diseases
  • Infections
  • Stomach pain

If your child needs care for a condition not listed here, consult with one of our pediatric care providers.

Specialty care and referrals

At times, your child may need care beyond general pediatric services, like specialized heart or neurology care. Talk with your pediatrician about coordinating the right specialty care for your child. At Bronson, you’ll have access to board certified children’s health specialists and the only children’s hospital at Bronson Children’s Hospital in the region.
