Flu Vaccine Recommendations

  • Everyone age 6 months and older should receive flu vaccine.
  • Do not wait for a specific vaccine if there is one that will work.
  • If available, mist should be given to healthy children aged 2 to 8 years.
  • Mist is not offered to adults older than 49.

In the event of a vaccine shortage, we will first distribute vaccine to high-risk groups identified by the CDC, such as people with:

  • Lung disease
  • Asthma or chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD)
  • Diabetes
  • Heart disease
  • Neurologic disease
  • Pregnant women
