Bronson MyChart eVisit

A Bronson MyChart eVisit is an easy way to ask your provider for medical advice and treatment online. For some conditions and treatments, you can skip the appointment and use Bronson MyChart eVisit instead.

How eVisits Work

eVisits take place online (a type of telemedicine) and are similar to sending your doctor an email. However, instead of email, we use Bronson MyChart Messages to communicate so your health information is secure, protected and kept private.

To have an eVisit, you need to have a Bronson primary care provider and a Bronson MyChart account. Then you simply send your medical question using the Messaging option in Bronson MyChart. If you meet the criteria below, your provider will walk you through the steps of the eVisit through MyChart Messages.

Conditions We Treat Using eVisits

Conditions vary for adults, teens and children:

Adult patients

  • Cough, flu or COVID-19 like symptoms
  • Diarrhea
  • Head lice
  • Insect bites and stings
  • Joint pain (not caused by injury)
  • Painful urination
  • Rash
  • Red eye
  • Request for change of medication
  • Request for referral
  • Sinus issues
  • Vaginal discharge or irritation

Pediatric patients

  • Constipation
  • Cough, flu or COVID-19 like symptoms
  • Diaper rash
  • Diarrhea
  • Head lice
  • Insect bites and stings
  • Red eye
  • Request for change of medication
  • Request for referral
  • Ringworm
  • Sore throat

Cost

Cost is based on how much time your provider spends treating you. This will be billed to you and your insurance. Standard copay and deductibles apply ($30 to $97 or less depending on your copay and deductible).

Get Started Today

To get started, send your provider a message in Bronson MyChart, following these steps:

  1. Log in to Bronson MyChart account (Don't have Bronson MyChart account? Sign up today.)
  2. If you're on your computer:
    • Go to Messaging and click on Ask a Question.
    • Choose New Medical Question.
    • Choose your provider as the recipient.
    • Choose Non-Urgent Medical Question as your subject.
    • Type your medical question, attach an image (if you'd like) and click Send.
  3. If you're on a tablet or mobile device:
    • Click on Messages.
    • Select Send A Message and choose Medical Advice.
    • Choose your provider from the list.
    • Choose Non-Urgent Medical Question as your subject.
    • Type your medical question, attach an image (if you'd like) and click Send.
  4. If your request meets the criteria for an eVisit, your provider will ask you to formally agree to participate and be billed for the service.
  5. Once you agree, your provider will message you in Bronson MyChart to ask questions and treat your condition. After treatment, your insurance is billed.
