Can I Schedule a Mammogram Without a Referral?

Yes, you can! If you meet all the requirements below, you’re ready to schedule:

  • You are 40 or older
  • Your sex at birth is female
  • You’ve had a visit with a primary care or OB/Gyn provider in the last 3 years

We offer both 2D and 3D (tomosynthesis) mammograms at most screening locations. Learn more about 3D mammograms.

Insurance Information

  • Schedule your mammogram at least 365 days after your last one to ensure it's covered by your insurance.
  • Some plans may not fully cover 3D mammograms, so check with your provider to understand your coverage.
