As a certified facility dog, Chewy’s job is to bring comfort to others.
What is Chewy’s job?
Chewy’s job is to offer emotional support and comfort to survivors of sexual violence during high stress and vulnerable moments. Chewy is professionally trained by Canine Companions.
Chewy may visit with children during forensic interviews, assist with treatment interventions during counseling sessions, or attend criminal court hearings. Although Chewy most often works with children, he enjoys working with clients of all ages.
Chewy has been certified as a facility dog through Canine Companions.
