Meet Our Athletic Trainers

Athletic Trainer Jeffrey WillsonJeffrey Willson, MS, AT, ATC 
Jeff is licensed in Michigan and a certified athletic trainer since 1978. Prior to joining Bronson, Jeff served as the director of the College & High School Athletic Trainer Network under HealthCare Midwest at the K Valley Orthopedics location. Before this, he was a clinical athletic trainer in the physical therapy department at K Valley Orthopedics P.C. for 22 years. Jeff received his master’s degree in athletic training from Western Michigan University and his bachelor’s degree in physical education from Hillsdale College.


Athletic Trainer Heather SjoquistHeather Sjoquist, MS, AT, ATC, CSCS
Heather is licensed in Michigan and a certified athletic trainer and certified strength and conditioning specialist since 2006. Prior to joining Bronson, Heather served two years as a full-time faculty member in the WMU undergraduate athletic training program. Prior to her teaching position, she held the assistant athletic trainer position at Olivet College in their athletics department. Heather received her master’s degree in athletic training from Western Michigan University and her bachelor’s degree in athletic training from Grand Valley State University.


Scott Sell, MS, ATC
Scott is licensed in Michigan and a certified athletic trainer since 2010. Prior to joining Bronson, Scott worked at Kalamazoo College as an Assistant Athletic Trainer. He has also served as an Assistant Athletic Trainer at Cardinal Stritch University in Milwaukee, Wis., and completed a two-year athletic training internship with the Indianapolis Colts. Scott earned a bachelor’s degree in athletic training from the University of Indianapolis and a Master of Science degree in Kinesiology from Indiana University.
