Pharmacy Residency - Current Resident Profiles

Meridith Davison is from DeWitt, Mich., and received her Pharm.D. from Ferris State University College of Pharmacy. During school, Meridith worked at PGPA Pharmacy in Okemos and at Central Pharmacy- East Lansing. She found her passion for hospital pharmacy during her fourth year rotations, particularly emergency medicine. Meridith is excited to start her residency at Bronson and explore all aspects of inpatient pharmacy. Her professional interests include emergency medicine, trauma care, and psychiatry. Outside of pharmacy, Meridith enjoys playing the flute/piccolo and piano, watching Michigan State basketball and hockey, as well as spending time with her friends and family (including her cat, Katie).

Christine Ford grew up in Baton Rouge, Lou.. She graduated from Louisiana State University with a B.S. in Biological Sciences and earned her Pharm.D. from Samford University in Birmingham, Al. She worked at an independent community pharmacy throughout her pharmacy school career. Her professional interests include critical care, emergency medicine, and toxicology. Outside of pharmacy Christine loves to cook, travel, and care for her pet hedgehog Turnip.

Thomas Muma grew up in Delton, Mich. and is the youngest of four siblings. He attended Kellogg Community College for his undergraduate education before transferring to Butler University in Indianapolis where he earned his Pharm.D. Thomas enjoyed working as a pharmacy intern at Bronson and the West Michigan Cancer Center while in school and is looking forward to starting his residency in a familiar environment. His pharmacy interests are in critical care, emergency medicine, and infectious disease but he enjoys all areas of pharmacy. When he's not working, Thomas enjoys playing and watching all kinds of sports. He's a big Detroit sports fan and never misses an opportunity to watch Butler basketball. Go, Dawgs!

Emily Olgaard is from Frankenmuth, Mich. She completed her undergraduate studies at Delta College before earning her Pharm.D. at Ferris State University. She worked as an intern at a long-term care pharmacy to gain experience during her pharmacy studies. Emily is looking forward to learning all the different aspects of hospital pharmacy with a passion for pediatrics. Outside of pharmacy, Emily loves spending time with her family and friends and enjoys the outdoors. During the summer, she enjoys playing volleyball and spending time by the lake. In the winter months, she enjoys both downhill and cross-country skiing.
