Pharmacy Residency - Current Resident Profiles

Ashley Ottjepka (ottjepas@bronsonhg.org) is from Marshall, MI and attended Ferris State University for both undergrad and pharmacy school. During school, she worked for Corewell at Helen DeVos Children’s Hospital and the Investigational Drug Service Pharmacy at Butterworth. Her clinical interests include pediatrics, cardiology, and neurology. Outside of pharmacy, she enjoys staying active by going to the gym, swimming, and running. She also loves to spend time reading and trying new recipes in the kitchen.

Jenna Wilkerson (wilkerje@bronsonhg.org) is from Farwell, MI. She earned her PharmD from Ferris State University. Jenna worked as an intern throughout pharmacy school, with experiences at both Corewell Health Wayne Hospital and MyMichigan Medical Center Midland. Jenna’s professional interests include internal medicine, critical care, and pediatrics. During her free time, she enjoys cooking, trying new restaurants, spending time outdoors, and listening to music.

Kate Wolshon (wolshonk@bronsonhg.org) is from Southgate, Michigan. She attended St. Louis College of Pharmacy to complete her pre-requisites. She was a pitcher for their collegiate softball team, and an involved member of Lambda Kappa Sigma. She transferred to the University of Tennessee Health Science Center (UTHSC) to begin pharmacy school, where she spent P1-P2 years in Memphis and P3-P4 years in Knoxville. During her time at UTHSC, she was involved in Kappa Psi and APhA-ASP. She also served on the executive committee as the College of Pharmacy Representative for UNITE, which is UTHSC’s organization dedicated to advocating for the LGBTQIA+ community in healthcare. Her current interests are critical care, emergency medicine, and psychiatry, and her goal is to pursue PGY2 training. In her free time, she enjoys spending time with her friends and family, getting active (pickleball, golf, hiking), and crafting. 

Madi Brown (bromad@bronsonhg.org) is from Augusta, MI. She graduated from Ferris State University with her PharmD. Before graduating from pharmacy school, Madi worked as a pharmacy intern in the inpatient pharmacy at Beacon Kalamazoo Hospital. Madi’s professional interests include critical care, emergency medicine, and infectious disease. In her free time, she enjoys reading, traveling, and spending time outside.
