Stay on track with your health and wellness routine
While we navigate a new world that requires social distancing, masks and increased cleaning precautions, the club may look a little different these days. However, our commitment to providing a safe, healthy and full-service fitness experience remains the same.
Great news! As of April 19, the hot tub and dry sauna are back open! In order to ensure social distancing is maintained, capacity limits are in place in both these spaces. Signs with details are posted throughout the club.
Ensuring cleanliness and stopping the spread of germs
To help keep all members, guests and staff, you will notice several improvements throughout the club. Some of these improvements are temporary and will be adjusted as time goes on in accordance to Bronson’s infection prevention team and industry best practices:
- 21 new wall mounted hand sanitizers and 200 cleaning stations throughout the club
- Every other piece of cardio equipment is closed off, allowing for proper social distancing
- Gym valets (spray bottles and microfiber towels) on every piece of equipment
- Socially distanced group exercise studio with limited class sizes
- Staff following a strict, in-depth cleaning routine throughout the day
- Nightly deep cleaning of the entire facility
The new normal - we're all in this together
Although our team is following strict new standards and precautions to ensure the club is safe for all, we ask that you also do your part. Check out the topics below to learn what to expect the next time you come to the club, and what you can do to help make Bronson Wellness Center a great place to work out, relax and enjoy the camaraderie of others!
Wearing a mask
Per current state mandates, face coverings/masks are required at all times inside this club*. This aligns with CDC recommendations to help reduce the spread of COVID-19. Read more details and see tips for properly wearing a mask.
*Masks do not need to be warn while inside the pools or hut tub. However, you must wear it into and out of the pool area.
Arriving at the club
Check-in is now completed with no-contact. Read about the new check-in process now.
Wiping down your equipment
We've installed 176 cleaning stations throughout the club. We call these Gym Valets, and each is equipped with a hospital grade disinfectant and a black microfiber towel. The disinfectant we've chosen is a quat disinfectant manufactured by 3M. We also have installed 17 wall mounted hand sanitizers. We ask that before and after you workout on any cardio or strength equipment, you follow this process for wiping down your equipment.
Attending group exercise classes
Group exercise classes are now limited in size, and a reduced number of classes are on the schedule. As more people start coming back to the club, we will evaluate class participation and add more classes as appropriate. Learn more about what group exercise classes will look like.
When you come back to the club for your workouts, feel confident bringing your kids along, too. We have protocols in place to keep everyone safe and healthy inside the facility, including temperature checks, easy to reach hand sanitizer stations, limited capacity and more. Learn what you can expect from childcare.
Per the Governor's order 2020-164, all children ages 4+ must wear a mask or face covering while inside the club, with the exception of the childcare room. Masks/face coverings are not required for children while inside childcare.
