Small Group Fitness Programs

Are you bored with your current workouts? Do you need some extra accountability to get to the gym or the motivation to push yourself further? Could you benefit from some extra attention from a fitness expert? Small group fitness programs can check all these boxes! Regardless of your age or current fitness level, you can find a program that will help you reach your goals. These classes are open to members and non-members.

Ongoing programs

The programs listed below are held throughout the year. Each program lasts between four and six weeks, with a new session starting the following week. Registration is required. To find the next session start date and to save your spot, stop by the club service desk or call (269) 639-2949.

  • MX4
    November 2-25; November 30-December 24
    Mondays/Wednesdays at 7:15 a.m., 8:15 a.m. OR 5:15 p.m.; OR Tuesdays/Thursdays at 2:15 p.m.
    MX4 workouts are safe and effective for everyone, no matter your age or fitness level. Plus, by combining Matrix-exclusive equipment with originally created programming, workouts are sure to take your workouts to the next level to help you get the results you want!
    4-week session cost: members $64, nonmembers $80

  • Bootcamp
    November 2-25; November 30-December 23
    Monday/Wednesday, noon-12:30 p.m. OR Monday/Wednesday, 6-6:30 p.m.
    Get your heart pumping! This class uses free weights, TRX straps, interval training and body weight exercises for a full body workout in only 30 minutes.
    4-week session cost: members $48, nonmembers $64

  • Calorie Burn
    November 3-24
    Tuesday/Thursday, 12:10-12:55
    This cardio, muscular endurance and interval training program will jump start your metabolism and help you burn major calories.
    4-week session cost: members $48, nonmembers $60

  • Chair Yoga
    November 2-23
    Monday, 11-11:45 a.m. OR Wednesday, 11-11:45 a.m.
    This modified yoga class is perfect for anyone who cannot easily get up and down from the floor. This is a mind-body workout that will help you improve strength and stability in a relaxing, yet fun, environment.
    4-week session cost: members $32, nonmembers $40

  • Circuit Training
    November 3-24; December 1-24
    Tuesday/Thursday, noon-12:30 p.m. OR Tuesday/Thursday, 6-6:30 p.m.
    This intermediate level program will tone and strengthen your whole body. During class, you’ll use free weights and resistance bands.
    November session cost: members $42, nonmembers $56
    December session cost: members $48, nonmembers $64
  • HIIT For Men
    November 2-25

    Monday/Wednesday, noon-12:30 p.m.
    A program designed specifically for men. Look good and feel great with these effective workouts that will help you burn lots of calories, build muscle and boost energy.
    4-week session cost: members $48, nonmembers $64

  • Total Body Conditioning
    November 2-25
    Monday/Wednesday, 9:10-9:55 a.m.
    Burn fat. Tone muscles. Improve balance. Build stamina. These are just a few of the benefits you'll gain in this beginner workout program.
    4-week session cost: members $56, nonmembers $70

  • Shift Your Mind: Shift Your Shape
    November 3-24

    Tuesday/Thursday, 6-6:30 p.m.
    Ladies - this one is for you! Learn high-efficiency exercises, reduce stubborn body fat, increase muscle, develop a motivational mindset and create a daily success system.
    4-week session cost: members $56, nonmembers $70
