Community Health Needs Assessment
As a community-owned health system, Bronson is committed to not only treating illness, but to improving the overall health and well-being of the communities we serve.
In 2016, each hospital in the Bronson Healthcare system conducted a Community Health Needs Assessment to obtain a clear snapshot of the most important health problems facing area residents.
Across the three counties surveyed - Calhoun, Kalamazoo, Van Buren - access to care was identified as a priority community health need.
As a result, Bronson Healthcare is currently focusing on expanding access to care and serving as a community health catalyst to engage community partners in programs and activities that can have a positive impact on this community need.
