Robert R. Isacksen, MD
President of Bronson Medical Group
Robert R. Isacksen, MD, is president of Bronson Medical Group (BMG). His responsibilities include partnering with and overseeing more than 500 physicians and APPs, leading the Physician Leadership Council, developing and implementing medical group strategies and representing BMG to the executive team.
Prior to joining Bronson, Dr. Isacksen was a physician at Healthcare Midwest where he served as board president. He received a medical degree from the University of Michigan and a Bachelor’s of Arts in Chemistry from Hope College in Holland, Mich. He completed his residency in urology at Loyola University Medical Center in Chicago. He has worked for Bronson Urology Specialists since 1997.
Dr. Isacksen has board certification from the American Board of Urology and is a part of the American Urological Association as well as Western Michigan Urological Association. He has post-residency training in robotic surgery and prostate brachytherapy. Some of his practice interests include robotic surgery, incontinence and stone disease. Dr. Isacksen continues to devote 50 percent of his time to seeing patients in at Bronson Urology & Continence Specialists.
